Portfolio Update
June 22, 2023Today I was able to add several images to my website portfolio which I think is awesome. I had a gallery I was working on and have been editing for a few days, today I decided to go another route.
After spending hours adding and removing plugins from my site to find a gallery I liked and that was easy to work with I decided on Visual Portfolio to display my images in a gallery format.
I chose a handful of photographs that I really like and that have a memory or two that I can remember. Trying to remember the where and what in the photographs was the hardest part.
You can find all the photographs in my portfolio now available on this website, below I will share a bit about some of those photographs.
This photograph I remember taking a Lumberman’s Monument overlooking the Ausable River. I was spending the day walking various trails and taking photographs with my younger brother. I had my Canon Rebel t6 at the time and he was shooting with his new cell phone. We spent hours traveling through the Huron National Forrest that day. What an awesome day that was.
This was a brave sparrow. I was playing on my laptop waiting for my flight at the Indianapolis Airport and this bird landed on the edge of the charging station where I was fiddling around. I slowly opened my camera bag and pulled out my camera to get the shot. What a brave little sparrow.
This photograph was taken on a special day. I wanted to get away for the day and offered for my younger sister and her daughter to accompany me. We started not really having a plan and ended up at Ocqueoc Falls in Michigan. We hiked a good part of the Ocqueoc Falls Bicentennial Pathway which follows the Ocqueoc River and Falls. It was a special day for me to have time with my sister and niece.
I’m sure if I keep adding to this list and sharing the stories behind the photographs I will end up listing them all, not what I am wanting to do at this time.
I hope you enjoy the photographs I have shared and the stories that go with them. I will add more as time passes and I get a little more organized. See you in the funny pages.
