This project will be designed around my travels and photography. I want to incorporate my journey with a variety of social and multimedia platforms. In the early stages of this project I will be building a community and getting prepared to start traveling full-time. As this project grows, so will the amount of content that is created. Below you will find what I have planned and which platforms will be used.
WordPress
Using WordPress as a travel blog, I will be writing articles about my travels. Here I will write about where I’m visiting, the trails I’m hiking, parks I’m exploring, and what all I’m doing while there. This blog will be about living my life as a nomad and all the adventure within. Read along as I capture the world with my camera, a motorhome, and desire to see all I can of this wonderful place.
OpenSea
OpenSea is the marketplace that I will be using for my NFT’s. You can view all my available NFT’s on OpenSea or from selecting NFT Gallery from the menu on this website. All my photos are listed and sold as a 1 of 1 in their collection. This means there can be only one owner of any of my NFT’s. Collections will be ongoing and as new photos are taken there will be new NFT’s made available to collect.
YouTube
YouTube is a great platform for uploading video content. I want to share my journey with you through videos and shorts. During my journey I’ll be visiting national parks, hiking trails, amazing cities and more. Working with YouTube we can enjoy these exciting places together and explore the world. Witness first hand where I find great locations and take wonderful photographs.
Twitter is a popular social media platform for NFT collectors and creators. Building a community with twitter is an adventure all on its own. This platform will be used for spontaneous updates and notifications to keep everyone following informed on day to day activities.
TikTok
TikTok I think is the number one place to find great video shorts on almost any topic. I want to share interesting places I find, awesome people I see and meet, and capture those awesome moments that only come once in a blue moon.
500px
500px is a fantastic platform for photographers to share their work and get involved in a community based on photography. Fun quests to keep the creative fluids flowing and a great community for and recognition and feedback. I’d love one day to see one of my photographs in a publication, 500px might be that door to open to get there.
I still enjoy Instagram and sharing photographs on this platform, it still makes me smile when I get the notification someone liked an image I shared. I intend to continue using this platform to share my photos and reach the NFT community growing on Instagram.
My Facebook Page is the first social media outlet I started sharing on when I started long distance backpacking. I plan to utilize the marketplace to sell products relating to this project while sharing my journey with followers.
Twitch
I still enjoy gaming and interacting with my community on Twitch and when possible I want to continue to do live streams on this platform. I think a place to talk LIVE to people about this project while enjoying community gaming can benefit this project.
