June 25, 2023Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood?
I would have to say S’Mores hands down. I strongly remember camping trips with the family and going on adventures with the Boy Scouts of America.
Childhood was great when I was camping. My brothers and I would go to the lake to swim or fish with our homemade poles. We would hike through the woods and run around all day.
That’s when it started to get dark and we’d all get together by the campfire and roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
I can taste the graham crackers and chocolate with the gooey hot marshmallow. Hands down best thing ever.
