Waiting in PA….
September 10, 2024Just an update, driving from my last adventure I stopped to check the air pressure in my tires because I was feeling a bit wobbly while driving.
With the help of a friendly truck driver I was able to check and fill my tires around the RV and discovered my tires have a fair amount of dry rot along the tread and on the sidewalls.
I talked to several people for their opinion on how safe it would be to continue driving on my trip and decided it wouldn’t be very safe to drive long distances on the tires as they are now.
I called around for estimates and there is one business in my current area that can replace all 6 tires. Other places either can’t lift the RV or their machine isn’t big enough to change this specific tire size.
After talking with the tire shop I found to replace all 6 tires and the spare it would cost me right around $2000 which means I’m stuck until I can obtain the funds for replacement.
I spoke to a few businesses in walking distance and have some interviews lined up to hopefully earn the money to get the new tires on my RV.
I’m praying that I can find a job fast and get back on the road before winter. I’m praying that God will bless me with a way to fix the RV and continue this adventure around the country.
I’m going to add more to this site on what all I’ve done before this situation came up and the wonders I’ve seen between then and now.
Please pray with me this week for strength and peace of mind while I sort out this hiccup.
