Pennsylvania Day 2
August 28, 2024What all can I say about Pennsylvania, a pretty interesting state so far as I’ve seen. I did manage to stop and check out a couple groovy waterfalls and I’m excited to post about those once I get some more work done on them.
I stayed the night in Butler, PA and finally enjoyed an evening that wasn’t causing me to sweat before bed. There was an awesome heavy wind that was blowing through it rocked the RV quite a bit but it cooled it down quite a bit more it was nice.
I woke up at 6:00 a.m. try to eat some breakfast but my body’s not used to being awake that early so it was rejecting me trying to eat. I decided after my breakfast failure that it was probably time to head to the library and see if I can get some website work done.
I spent a few hours at the Butler Area Public Library adding some new t-shirts to my website store and added another gallery style print to my store collection. After spending 6 hours working on the laptop I decided it was probably time to start traveling north again to get closer to New York.
I hopped on Pennsylvania highway 8 and started traveling north and as I was driving I noticed my RV was kind of fishtailing the back wanted to swing back and forth so I decided to check the tire pressure in my air to find out that I had a broken valve stem on one of my inside tires and that had to get fixed as soon as possible.
I continue to head up the highway stopping at every mechanic and tire shop that I found along the way trying to find someone who can fix this, the fifth stop was the charm.
The team at Jisco Truck and Off Road were the heroes today. I think these men at this shop were the coolest people that I’ve met in Pennsylvania. And not only was this team like-minded Patriots who want to see our country great again but they’re great at their job and the price was affordable on my tight budget.
After I was all fixed up and back on the road I decided it was time for a shower so I continued down the highway several miles where I found a truck stop with affordable showers and overnight parking for my RV. I think this is all I’m driving tonight I’m going to try to see if I can get some more work done on my novels so I can start posting some updates on my books.
Tomorrow brings more adventures, I’ll catch you up on the earlier parts of my Pennsylvania photography and locations if not tomorrow the next day.
