NFT GALLERY
November 13, 2025I’ve been working on NFTs again over the past few days. Since I first came across them years ago, I have been intrigued with the concept. Collecting NFTs is a lot of fun, and the proper ones may prove to be a wise investment.
Non-fungible: The term “non-fungible” refers to the fact that each token is distinct and cannot be swapped out for another token of the same kind, just like a unique painting cannot be swapped out for another. This is not the same as “fungible” assets, such as a dollar note, where every one is the same.
Blockchain-based: A blockchain, an impenetrable digital ledger, is used to create and store NFTs and cryptocurrency. This makes it possible to create a public record of every transaction as well as a distinct digital certificate of ownership.
Digital ownership: The NFT itself includes details, like a link to a digital file, regarding the digital asset it represents. Even if the file is copied and shared online, having the NFT demonstrates that you are the owner of the “original” or a particular, verified version of the digital asset.
Digital art: The most popular usage of NFTs is in the sale of digital art, where the token attests to the buyer’s ownership of the real thing.
With these specifics in mind I wanted to create customized limited edition NFTs using some of my favorite photos that I have taken. By doing this, I enable people to obtain a unique piece of my art that will last forever.
NFTs are also usable in a variety of Virtual Worlds and can easily be displayed as an asset you own so you can show off your items. I have a couple virtual galleries that I am working on where users can walk through and view my NFT collection.
